[ baein switches to video too, and then he listens patiently, eyes widening. spend... that festival, with daeshim? sure, the vampire knows little of it, but he does almost understand most of the themes of the festival, but surely—

[ sitting up straighter, baein leans in for the camera. ]

"First"? How is it your first?

[daeshim fidgets, as close to bashful as he ever gets.]

I don't know the actual day of my birth...or if I was even born at all. But someone has been kind enough to let me share his.

I just thought...it was something I'd like to experience. To have people celebrate your existence seems very meaningful.

Oh... I'm so glad you get to experience it too. That you want to. I'd love to spend the day with you, and whoever is sharing it with you.

It'll be at night, of course! We'll have a bonfire, and Jasper will make a beautiful cake. And dancing! Do you like dancing?

[dancing is in a fae's blood, but daeshim hasn't actually done a lot of it.]
