[ baein hasn't even handled children before, but he breathes out and nods, trying to not feel too nervous about it.

he'll follow sawyer's instructions as he is handed the child, cradling her very carefully. ]

[ Sawyer feels warmed by how careful Baein is being and it settles some of his own nerves. Because he definitely does still have some anxieties when it comes to handing Dawnya off to anyone, though, it's much better.

Dawnya is calm as she's cradled by the vampire, yawning and not particularly seeming to notice anything is amiss. ]

See... it's not so bad, right?

[ he's clearly not sure what to do other than to make sure he's holding her carefully. beyond that... ]

No... she just feels so fragile.

[ Dawnya is content enough, though, safe and falling back asleep already. Sawyer smiles, reaching out to brush his thumb over her cheek and then looking at Baein. ]

It's kind of scary at first but she's not nearly as fragile as she seems.

Mm... still.

[ baein eyes her for a bit, but he seems to have relaxed a little, as the child is clearly asleep. it feels safer like that. ]

She's very cute. She looks like you.

[ Felix flushes a little and he nods. She's very cute. ]

I think she looks a lot like Bishop.

[ He thinks she has Bishop's nose. ]

Well... that doesn't surprise me either. She looks like you both.

Mm. I was afraid she'd look like a demon.

I'm glad your fear was unfounded, then.

Me too... Everyone says they think I didn't...that it didn't get passed to her but...

[ He lifts a shoulder and smiles a little at Baein as he settles again. He started to ask Baein if he wants a drink or something to eat but catches himself. ]

Mm, I can understand the fear, but isn't it better to focus on now instead of something that probably isn't happening?
