[ So one night, Lennon finds Baein. He's holding a couple light blankets and a small basket, snacks for him in case while they're cuddling Baein takes a drink, it would definitely be offered. ]

Come on, the moon is full tonight.

[ putting away his book, baein slowly gets to his feet when lennon seeks him out. ]

Ah? Where are we going?

I'm...not sure.

[ Lennon admits. ]

Let's walk and just... find a place we like?

Mm... all right, that sounds nice.

[ the vampire gives lennon a soft smile. ]

[ Lennon smiles and he reaches to take the other's hand in his, lacing their fingers together. ]

Maybe the lake?

[narcolepsy]

[ baein curls his fingers around lennon's, reveling in the heat of the human's skin against his cold ones. ]

The lake it is.

[ Lennon smiles and he holds the other's hand as they walk. ]

I was thinking... maybe you'd want a snack once we settle down.

[narcolepsy]

Mm... maybe.

[ baein darts a glance at lennon, still with that small smile. he feels... shy, for some reason. ]

As long as you have something too.

Yeah. I brought some fruit.

[ Lennon says softly, lifting the bag briefly. And some chocolate milk. It's not the same thing as hot chocolate from Daeshim but he's used to having chocolate after being bitten. ]

Good, I'm glad.

[ baein's first and foremost priority is the safety of the people important to him. even if it means safety from himself, or blood drinking, or the effects of such. ]

[ Lennon nods. He knows Baein well enough to know he wouldn't have snacked if Lennon hadn't brought anything to eat. When they get to the lack he nods to a clearing near the water's edge. ]

What do you think about there?

[ he definitely wouldn't have snacked. he would have refused. he's getting to know the routines and how to make sure of them by now. his eyes light up a little at the clearing as they make their way over. ]

[ Lennon smiles and he squeezes Baein's hand and leads him over to the spot, setting down the blanket on the grass after setting down the basket he had with the snacks for himself. ]

[ the vampire hums as they settle, and closes his eyes towards the breeze for a bit. he's still holding lennon's hand, if lennon is letting him. ]

[ Lennon doesn't let go of his hand even as he's fixing the blanket the best he can with one hand and then tugs Baein with him once he sits on it, leaning back on his free hand. ]

Mm. Just... wanted some time with you so. Thought this would be a good idea.

[ baein turns to give him a soft smile. even after everything that's happened, he's still in disbelief that lennon would even want any kind of relationship with him. or would want to get to know him outside daeshim's company. ]

[ Lennon sighs softly as he looks over at him, he tightens his fingers on the other's hand. ]

Because you did not enjoy my presence at first. Because of who I am.

[ because he was connected to daeshim and he made lennon feel bad and— ]

And half the time I don’t know how to figure out my feelings. I’m not going to be enough, not… I don’t know.

[ as lennon shifts closer, baein tilts a little his way, not quite leaning, but definitely not leaning away. ]

[ Lennon nods a bit. Perhaps they all do. He's nervous. Baein always makes him a little nervous. He can never quite tell where he stands with him but he likes him so much. ]
